Rocking with the Reaper : A Journey into Mindfulness

Rocking with the Reaper is my very personal, 445 page account of 'dancing with death' for most of my adult life and being on kidney dialysis for the past decade. I also write about many of the interesting things I've learned about we humans (as a social worker, psychotherapist, mindfulness teacher and traveler) and show how we're biologically 'wired to connect' and be kind. I argue that if we take what I believe to be the innate goodness (which I felt on my death-bed) as a starting point, we could build a much happier world, with more connection to ourselves, others and our natural world.
